Miz Lynn’s Pies is a small business dedicated to the manufacture of fresh pies, currently producing three varieties, Sweet Potato, New England Lemon Chess, and Pecan. Crafted from all natural ingredients, the pies are made in small batches to guarantee the highest quality to ensure the satisfaction of those who try the pies.

Originally named Piney’s Baking Company, the company was founded in March 1997 by Ernest East, manufacturing pineapple cakes and cookies for wholesale to convenience stores. In 2000, the company made a shift in direction; renamed Miz Lynn’s Pies, in honor of an inspiring cousin, the company began producing sweet potato pies from an old family recipe reworked for a more health-conscious, San Francisco flavor.

Just prior to 2001, Miz Lynn’s Pies received a call from Willie Brown, the Mayor of San Francisco at the time. From there, Miz Lynn’s Pies expanded to grocers like Good Life Grocery, Mollie Stones’ Markets and Andronico’s Market, along with restaurants such as Big Nate’s Barbeque, owned by the NBA star Nate Thurmond.
